Poon Sin-hang, a chromatic harmonica player, has been learning performing skills from the virtuoso Mr Yasuo Watani since 2008. Profoundly enlightened by his teaching, she has closely bonded with the harmonica since then. She has been awarded in various international competitions: Champion in Chromatic Harmonica Solo (Adult), 1st Runner-up in Harmonica Duo (Adult) at the Seoul International Harmonica Festival 2019, Open Category (as a member of Respire Harmonica Ensemble) at the World Harmonica Festival 2017 and Duo Open (as a member of AJ Duo) at the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2016.

Poon is now a member of Respire Harmonica Ensemble and AJ Duo, actively promoting harmonica music in Hong Kong by joining different kinds of concerts. In 2021, she was invited to record one of the outstanding original harmonica pieces, “Game Time 21” (composed by Cecilia Lam, the 1st runner-up) for the CD Album released by the 1st Hong Kong International Composition Competition for Chromatic Harmonica 2021. Later on, she performed this winning piece (world premiere) in the “Absolutely Harmonica – Concert on Original Composition Harmonica” presented by the Hong Kong Harmonica Association.
