Alan Voon, graduated from Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) and Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), major in harmonica, minor in modern piano and composition. He is the leader of The HummingWay Harmonica Ensemble. Under his leadership, The HummingWay Harmonica Ensemble has been involved in various international competitions and achieved outstanding results. In year 2015 Seoul International Harmonica Festival, they are awarded championship in Harmonica Duet, Trio & Quartet and Grand Champion. And in year 2016 Taiwan Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival they achieved championship in Harmonica Trio and second runner-up in Harmonica Chamber Music. In year 2017 Germany World Harmonica Festival, they are honored with Open Category 1st runner-up and Harmonica Trio 2nd runner-up. And in year 2019 Hua Xia Harmonica Festival they achieved championship in Harmonica Trio.
